The Strike Guard with WAVE Siren and Splash Pad Shut-Down System offers a simplified solution that provides the features of Strike Guard lightning detection, WAVE Siren automated warning, and Aquatic Features Shut-Down in a package that requires less equipment and is purposefully designed for Splash Pads and small Aquatic Parks.
Designed for critical industrial applications, Strike Guard monitors cloud and cloud-to-ground lightning within a user-set range and provides contact-closure signaling at user-set lightning activity thresholds. Patented optical signal processing and proprietary optical-coincidence technology prevent false alarms.
Strike Guard Sensor data is communicated via a lightning-proof fiber-optic cable to an independent Lightning Data Receiver Plus, which features system status, caution, and alarm indicators, relays , and computer-compatible output.
The Lightning Data Receiver Plus communicates with a single WAVE Siren Station via fiber-optic cable to provide audible notification specific to the desired coverage area and application. Based on coverage area and sound pressure level requirements, Siren Stations can be ordered with up to four 100 W re-entrant horn, high-efficiency compression-drivers.
WAVE Stations can be equipped with a number of single and multi mode visual notifications.
Contact-Closer Relays on the LDR+ signal aquatic feature control systems to execute a pre-programmed shut-down sequence when a lightning alert is issued, and then a pre-programmed start-up sequence when it is safe to resume normal operation.

The Strike Guard + WAVE & SPAD System detects local lightning threats and categorizes them by proximity.
Lighting activity detected inside the ALARM proximity activates automated alerts from the fiber-optically connected WAVE Station and executes a shut-down sequences for all aquatic features . Features remain off for the full duration of the lightning ALARM and normal operation is automatically restored when the ALL-CLEAR is issued.
